Less Than a Month..

The days are rapidly flying by and things are getting checked off the list. I cannot believe that after 2 years of being engaged, Jeff and I are finally getting married. There is so much excitement I can hardly stand it. We cannot wait to have all of our friends and family in the same place for a few days. We have many people coming from far away, and each time I hear from them I get choked up and start crying. I am definitely investing in some waterproof mascara! All of our plans are coming together and we look forward to having a wonderful weekend with our loved ones.

I tried on my dress for the second fitting and it was incredible. I knew I loved my dress, but after buying it last summer and having it live in a closet at my Uncle's house for the past year, it was really something to see it on, and taken in to fit me like a glove. I couldn't stop dancing a little jig as I was going into the dressing room, and I am sure the sales lady thinks I am out of my mind, but why should I hide my excitement? Isn't it a great thing to be a happy bride that sees her future with her amazing soon to be husband as nothing short of spectacular? I think so, and so on with my giddy self I shall be. Jeff looks so handsome in his suit and we got his shirt, tie and cufflinks all squared away. He looks so dashing and as handsome as ever. I can't wait to see him standing at the altar and to see the look on his face when I hit the stairs with my papa.

So soon!

Gettin' Close!

We are so excited that the BIG day is almost here! We hope that everyone has made their travel plans and hotel arrangements for the weekend. The hotel block only lasts through tomorrow, so if you want to get a room at a discounted rate see the information in the post below regarding booking a room.

We are planning on taking people on a tour Friday afternoon, so if you are in town then let us know, and we will all get together and hop on one of the double decker tour busses for a couple of hours. Friday night is rehearsal dinner for family only so you will have time to go out and explore DC a bit. Saturday is a free day for everyone to do as they wish as Jeff & I will spend the day dealing with last minute details and that evening we will be having dinner with our just our parents and then early to bed!

If you need any additional information that we haven't already posted here, please don't hesitate to give us a call or email us! See y'all soon!
