Getting Here and Getting Around

There are several airports in the area that you can fly into. The best choice is Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), it is the airport that will land you closest to D.C. You can also fly into Dulles Airport (IAD), if you are finding significantly lower fares, but it is about a 30-45 minute drive from D.C., so we only advise flying there if it is A LOT cheaper. Plus if you fly into DCA, you get to see all the beautiful monuments as you land, which we think is pretty cool.

If you are happier renting a car, go for it, although D.C. has a great public transportation system, Metro . The Metro has a stop at DCA ~ National Airport - Blue/Yellow line (another good aspect of flying into there), and if you are staying at the Hotel Palomar, the metro is just a few blocks away ~ Dupont Circle - Red Line. DC is a very walkable city, and there is much to do downtown with several Metro stops to get you where you want to go.

We will be providing shuttle service for all of our guests on Sunday to and from the wedding from the Hotel Palomar.
