The D.C. Tourism Website has a lot of helpful information and ideas. One is a list of 100 Free (or Nearly Free) Things To Do in D.C.
Washingtonian Magazine is another source of information, they have restaurant guides (although Jeff and I can't stand the restaurant critic) , and going out guides of what is going on around town.
Washington Post is another great source for dining guides and reviews as well as ideas of bars and nightlife in town, Washington Post Going Out Gurus.
